This was my first time visiting Dnever, Colorado and these are the Top Things I think you should do while you are here!
We had about 36 hours to spend downtown, and something we noticed was that there wasn’t a ton to do downtown, but there was a lot to see and a lot to eat and drink. We started our day with coffee at Huckleberry Coffee, and took the train from the Union Station to the Rino District (or the River Arts North District). There was a lot of road work going on so we weren’t able to explore too much, but we walked down Larimer Street all the way to Larimer Square and stoped at the Denver Central Market in between to pick up a some lunch. After all that walking we really needed to quench our thirst with a flight of beer at the Wynkoop. Our Day was not yet over so we headed to the Dairy Block to check out the quaint and cute little boutiques, and may have also picked up a coffee there as well at Morning Jones. As our day was coming to a close, we really decided to really take care of our sweet teeth at Habit Donuts which was a great little boozy donut treat. As if that wasn’t enough, we had to end the night with a scoop of ice cream from Little Man’s Ice Cream, how can you say no to ice cream on a hot day? But it was well worth it, because Little Man will donate a scoop of rice or beans to a country in need from every scoop of ice cream sold. This was not an exhaustive list of everything to do in Denver, but I think its some of the best! Do any of these places interest you?

Hi! I’m Cheraya, a Minnesota girl, and I took a year off work brewing coffee to travel around the world. I love to explore and experience new to me destinations and places that are rich in culture and history. Even though my year of travel has ended I still want to see more of the world and explore things I have not seen before. To see what I get up to, (inbetween my not so 9-5 barista job) and maybe learn along with me, join me on this crazy, exciting adventure.
